STATUS: Military usage for American Allied military personnel.  Discontinued in 1962.

FIRST LICENSE PLATES IN USE: 1952

PLATES ARE: Government issue. 1952 - green on cream (2CF-0000), 1953 - white on black (3CF-00000), 1954 - white on black (CF-00000).  From 1955 through 1961 (up to CF-99999, then 1CF-00000, 2CF-00000).  From approx. 1962 through 1968, plates reverted to the SHAPE series.
