STATUS: Issued to NATO vehicles in Portugal.
FIRST LICENSE PLATES IN USE: 1950's
PLATES ARE: Standard Portuguese plates, with a NATO prefix, followed by up to four digits. NATO issues are known both in white on black, and red on white. Vehicles based on the Iberlant base have white on black plates (formerly yellow on blue) with an IBL prefix, followed by four numbers (12-34).
