MOTOR VEHICLES REGISTERED AT THAT TIME:  Probably less than 200.

Plates were white on green, in various sizes and makes. Most had OUT ISLANDS and BAHAMAS somewhere on the plate, and the low serial number was prefixed with GH. Most were flat hand painted steel, but some alternate materials were used, such as thick plexiglass, which is what the plate at the top of this page is made of.
