Drew's MACK TRUCK BULLDOGS

I worked* at Mack Trucks in Allentown, Pennsylvania from 1981 through 1990 - at the time, I collected the litte bulldog lapel pins when they came my way, but didn't save any but the "fire helmet" pin I wore when working at the Fire Truck plate in Macungie, PA.

I'm currently re-assembling my set of pins, and have most of the examples known so far - if you have one not shown below, please let me know!

I also owned an Internation Motors employee pin (the pre-Mack Trucks name) - I've since lost this item, but it was a round yellow enamel on brass circular pin, with an rounded "I over M" logo seen on early Mack/IM trucks, buses and train cars.   The pin was around an inch across, and if memory serves, had a three digit number stamped into it.  If you have one of these for sale, please let me know!

Generally, pins shown are all around 1/3" to 1/2" across in size - may are shown in close-up shots.  - Drewski

* OK - I showed up every day - first as blueprint/copier, then a changewriter, a few years of clerking at the Fire Truck plant, and finally a few
final years are the World Headquarters in Allentown, PA as the Engineering Librarian.

Other duties involved refrigerator magnet accumulation, squash and hot pepper gardening in the office,
and a large amount of cartooning.
