GRAPHICS USED: Plates used from 1929 through 1935 featured a small diamond, from the alternative state nickname, "The Diamond State". There is also a current "environmental" issue in use - photos coming soon.
PORCELAINS ISSUED: 1909 through 1915, then again in 1942. The original (and some reproduction) white on black porcelain 1942 bases are still legal in Delaware, as long as the registration number and validation sticker is correct and up-to-date. These are the last porcelain plates issued in the US.
