GRAPHICS USED:  1928 plates had a large potato in the background of the plate. The tan and green plate had the plate number debossed into the potato. 1947 plates had an airborne skier in front of some mountain peaks. In 1948/49, natural aluminum plates were graced with a full color decal of a baked potato, complete with a pat of butter. A stylized mountain scene was added across the top of the plates in 1986, and a fancier pine tree scene in 1991, and again in the mid-1990's.
