GRAPHICS USED:  Plates of Liechtenstein have the national crest on the plate, in yellow and red.

PLATES ARE: Officially issued, with a FL prefix (Fürstentum Liechtenstein). Private vehicles get black plates with white numbers, temporary issues have red bands on the plate with the date of expiration. Although the fully permanent Liechtenstein plates are very difficult to obtain, the temporary plates are rather common. Sample versions of the permanent plates are also easily obtained.
