Pretty much
the nicest, all original pair of 1910's I've seen to date - these
plates
are 100% original, off white on midnight blue - riveted on flat
steel.
1910 is the first year for state issued plates in the Empire
State.
I have a seven year old Crisler price guide that prices a
single '10
NY in only "vg" condition at $175. The book doesn't even
have a price
for this grade - $575.00 for the pair, firm (post-discount)

that famed ALPCA member Roy Carson (number 17) ran on his car
while touring
around the world. The reverse of the plate has hand-written
ovals showing
all the countries visited.... at least 25 countries, along with
Roy's iconic

POSTAGE RATES: US and CANADA - Shipping is now billed at actual cost, plus 8 ounces - for the most part, I can ship 3 standard plates for $4.80 within the US - after that, packages will be weighed. Same deal with overseas AIR (Priority and/or First Class) - check each additional listing, some will be "double rate postage" ( for extra heavy plates, longs, porcelains, etc). Thanks!
DISCOUNTS: Buy over $200 worth, and I'll take 5% off the total. Buy over $500 worth, and I'll take 10% off the total. As always, I won't combine discounts. You can use a coupon, or take the percentage, but not both.
