817 - MISSOURI - 1961
passenger plate "BACKSLAPPER" - I used to have a half dozen of these, and
I can tell you, they're pretty darned rare. Plate was run through the

plate - $46.00

where the plates were made, destroying the shop, and practically all of the
dated 1974 license plates. A sticker was eventually used to update
the red/white 1973 plates - a few intact 1974 dated plates were found - here's
an unusual test-error plate that actually had the corner cut off before the
fire took place - probably was in the trash when the fire hit - $34.00
867 - OREGON - 1957 Trailer
Coach error - here's a rare one, from a state that never lets errors
loose - simple enough screw-up, the tab slots were stamped into the plate

of over the date. - $38.00
869 - PANAMA - 1980's

- SOUTH CAROLINA - 1980's vintage TEST-PROTOTYPE plate
- if you know Antique Car issues, you know the SC Antiques have been gold
on black for years....here's a "number 1" (first in the thousand series)
Antique Auto, but in black on reflective white. This plate was clearly
used for wear and tear testing, as it has a lot of fade and discoloration.
A rare find - $80.00

one like it since. - $36.00
