16509 - NORTH KOREA - this is one of the two only known motorcycle plates that I turned up about ten years ago (the other plate is in my collection, and is number 7-16) - this is NOT a cut down passenger, nor is it one of those idiotic crap-tags that some shmuck in China was hand stamping out of thin metal with wooden blocks.  This plate is HEAVY steel, machine stamped, and hand painted, and the earliest of the known DPRK motorcycle plates.  I do not own this plate, it's the unsold leftover from the Pat McMahon "McPlates" listings on eBay - Pat wanted me to list this with the rest of my motorcycles, and the price is a firm (post-discount) $250.00 (which is half of what Pat originally paid).  A real piece of DPRK history!
