MOTOR VEHICLES CURRENTLY REGISTERED:  Approx. 5,200,000

GRAPHICS USED:  Current plates have a full color provincial crest between the serial and suffix code.

PLATES ARE: Owner provided. I don't have much information on the newest series of South African plates (see header photo). They seem to be issued by region, with a special crest for each province, and a different suffix. The prefix letters indicate type. More information to follow.
