U.S.Forces in Greenland - Sondrestrom Air Base

STATUS: Former issue - Sondrestrom Air Base has been closed down.

WORLD LOCATION: North America

PLATES WERE: Officially issued. The few known are 1/16th" gauge flat aluminum, reflective white with black "chart-pak" adhesive characters. They're also rather small, approx. 4 x 7. I got one directly from the base before it closed (shown in the header photo), and the person who I spoke to informed me that it was a standard issue for large vehicles, as well as motorcycles.
