License plates of various sizes and colors have been in use by various branches of the US military stationed in the Phillipines. Types are of the same variety found on civilian vehicles, but have distinct legends identifying the brance or service base:

JOHN HAY - Rest and Recreation Base

SANGLEY - Rest and Recreation Base

SUBIC NB - Subic Bay Naval Base

SUBIC USNB - Subic Bay Naval Base

USASEP - US Army Southeast Pacific

US COMSTA - US Communication Station

US DOD - US Department of Defense

US EMB - US Non-Diplomatic Embassy Staff

US NB - US Naval Base
